The collection Continue the Story contains 12 stories written by 12 female writers based on fragments created at the Literary Club and Creative Writing Workshop at the Women's Penitentiary in Požega, namely: Marija Andrijasević, Staša Aras, Lana Bastašić, Ivana Bodrožić, Maša Kolanović, Tanja Mravak, Marija Rakić Mimice, Korana Serdarević, Nora Verde, Jelena Zlatar Gamberožić, Jasna Jasna Žmak and Luiza Bouharaoua.

The collection Continue the Story brings together twelve authors who represent the best of short stories in our country. Favorites of critics and audiences, winners of numerous domestic and international awards, in this book they find themselves faced with the previously unknown task of continuing someone else's story.

The twelve stories in this book address the female and occasional male experience of various forms of isolation: from physical and emotional, through family to social. Armed with strength, endurance and sensitivity, the heroines and heroes of these stories emerge from the suburbs of Split, the apartment blocks of New Zagreb, cramped homes and toilets of Kaptol, and embark on a fictional journey whose main goal is to conquer the spaces of freedom.
