The Medusa Gaze

The exhibition “The Medusa Gaze” thematically combines the conservation-restoration and archaeological aspects of the research into a 37-meter-long wall composed of ancient artifacts found in the Jadro River in Solin.

Duality, as the core theme of the catalog's design, permeates the layout, which is split using two different typefaces and colors, thereby clearly dividing the content into two distinct sections. This principle is realized on the cover and accompanying graphics through the physical overlapping of the conservation and archaeological elements (a polygonal grid and a photograph of the stone).
